Claire Forlani was born on July 1, 1972 in London, England to a British mother and an Italian father who made his living managing a music producer.
She moved with her family to Northern California just shy of her 21st birthday, has had a quick rise up the pecking order in Hollywood.
Claire and her parents relocated to San Francisco in 1993. Months later, she made her American debut in the ABC mini-series JFK: Reckless Youth, in the minor role of Ann Cannon, a tempting young lass who shares a sensuous dance with a young JFK.
Forlani portrayed a Victorian era aristocrat who falls for a commoner in the period piece "Basil" (Romance Classics, 1998).

In 1999, Claire Forlani appeared in the summer action flick Mystery Men, with the likes of Hank Azaria, Janeane Garofalo, Paul Reubens, Ben Stiller, and William H. Macy. Claire will be featured in a romantic drama Elements, with Rob Morrow. She has finished her work in the indie comedy film Magicians, with Alan Arkin.
After a small but memorable role in "Mystery Men" (1999), she teamed with Freddie Prinze Jr. for the romantic comedy "Boys and Girls" (2000) and went blonde to co-star in the drama "Anti-Trust" (2001).
She joined Jason Statham, Burt Reynolds and Ray Liotta in the feature adaptation of the popular fantasy PC game "Dungeon Siege".
