Eliza Dushku was born December 30, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts to Danish-Albanian-American parents. Her mother and father were both educators and staunch Mormons.

Her parents are both college professors and she has three older brothers, whom she says used to terrorize her and taught her to become a tomboy, but she must have forgiven them as she still lives with her oldest brother Nate today.

When young Eliza studied dancing and singing and was often seen in children's theater, signing for the deaf.

Eliza Dushku was discovered at the end of a 5-month search throughout the United States for the perfect girl to play the lead role of Alice opposite Juliette Lewis in the film "That Night."

Eliza Dushku has numerous starring roles in several acclaimed films. She has starred with such notable players as Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert de Niro as well Arnold Schwarzeneggar in such major motion pictures as This Boy's Life & True Lies, respectively.

In addition to acting, she sometimes is seen on stage at the Children's Theatre signing for the deaf. She is currently reprising her role as Faith on "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" as well as "Angel".
