Michelle Pfeiffer was born in Santa Ana Aprl 29 1958, California to Dick and Donna Pfeiffer.

Pfeiffer attended Fountain Valley High School and graduated in 1976. She briefly pursued a career as a court reporter at Golden West Community College before dropping out in pursuit of a career in acting.

She first appeared in the movie FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN and then in the disappointing sequel, GREASE 2. Her next role in SCARFACE made a lasting impression, and two years later she was cast in the movie, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK with Jack Nicholson.

Over the course of the 1980's and 1990's, Pfeiffer starred in a string of box-office and critical hits as Ladyhawke, The Witches of Eastwick, Married to the Mob, Tequila Sunrise, The Russia House, Frankie and Johnny, Batman Returns, The Age of Innocence, Dangerous Minds, and One Fine Day. She received the British Academy Award and also received her first Oscar nomination in 1988 as Best Supporting Actress in Stephen Frears's Dangerous Liaisons.

Her title as one of the most versatile actresses of today can be proven by the variety of films she has done: a Russian woman in 1990's The Russia House; a jaded waitress in 1991's Frankie & Johnny; Catwoman in 1992's Batman Returns; a Jacqueline Kennedy-obsessed housewife in Love Field (for which she earned her second Best Actress Oscar nomination); an inner-city teacher in 1995's Dangerous Minds; an ambitious single mother in One Fine Day (which she also produced); a fairy queen in 1999's A Midsummer Night's Dream with Calista Flockhart.

She has been linked romantically with actors Val Kilmer, John Malkovich, Michael Keaton, and Fisher Stevens. In 1993, Pfeiffer married writer-producer David E. Kelley
